SCI Semiconductor Appoints Dipesh Patel as Chair of the Board of Directors
Sheffield and Cambridge, 12 March 2026: SCI Semiconductor, the UK-based company pioneering cyber-resilient MCU solutions for security-critical use cases, today announces the appointment of Dipesh Patel as Chair of its Board.
Dipesh will work closely with the SCI Executive team to guide SCI Semiconductor through its next phase of growth, supporting the delivery of a security-first digital landscape powered by memory-safe computing technologies.
With more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including a distinguished career at Arm where he most recently served as Chief Technology Officer, Dipesh brings extensive experience in scaling transformative, next-generation compute platforms. Throughout his career he has worked with product portfolios spanning the entire hardware / software stack. He currently serves as an Operating Partner at Cambridge Innovation Capital and as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of XScape Photonics Inc. and Optalysys Ltd, supporting the growth of pioneering deep-tech companies.
